I really like these a lot.
Maybe the house is on a precipice, and the platform for making clouds is on a really tall stilt that goes above the house. You could use two compositions this way like the upper left, and the lower right.

ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN!
I like Brendon's suggestion of a special platform extending from the house.
A house on top of a mountain that almost touches the clouds is an amazing place to live... a platform that extends from that house,just above the cloud line is even more amazing and a bit magical...but still "grounded" to the earth
